*This is a W-2 position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide effective psychotherapeutic treatment for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma. Services include couples counseling, family therapy, teen therapy, child therapy, and mood disorder therapy.

  • Provide quality services and maintain an average weekly caseload of 20-25 clients.

  • Ability to quickly develop trust and rapport with clients.

  • Interest in being part of a close, collaborative team with a startup culture.

  • General skills with organization, responsibility, and excellent communication in order to be a dependable team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must possess a Master’s in counseling, psychology, or social work. Must be licensed. Must be available for in-person sessions.

  • 2 years of experience as a licensed therapist.

  • California BBS licensure is required.

  • Experienced in CBT and DBT modalities. Applicants with certification and/or experience in Couples Counseling, EMDR, and/or Hypnotherapy will be considered first.

  • Training and experience working with couples is highly desired.

  • Proficiency with practice management software (ex. SimplePractice).

  • Must have proof of active malpractice insurance.

Benefits and Pay

  • Pay: Up to $90 per hour for clinical hours. Non-clinical duties are paid at $16.78 per hour (ex., consultation calls).

  • Up to 10 Mental Health Days per year (unpaid time off).

  • (6) Paid Sick Days. Paid at the employee’s current rate of pay.

  • (6) Company Holidays Observed (unpaid time off).

  • Discretionary cash bonuses based on performance.
