*This is a W-2 position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide effective psychotherapeutic treatment for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family & relational issues, and those seeking to develop deeper self-awareness.

  • Provide quality services and maintain an average weekly caseload of 20-25 clients.

  • Ability to quickly develop trust and rapport with clients.

  • Interest in being part of a close, collaborative team with a startup culture.

  • General skills with organization, responsibility, and communication in order to be a dependable team member.

  • Able to comfortably commute to our Marina del Rey office at least once a week for in-person sessions.

  • Attend weekly supervision with a desire to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in counseling or psychology and be registered with the BBS, working towards California licensure.

  • Candidates with certification or training in evidence-based treatment modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, or AEDP will be considered first.

  • Training and experience working with couples is desired.

  • Proficiency with EHR practice management software. We use SimplePractice.

Benefits and Pay

  • Pay: Up to $60 per hour for clinical hours. Paid supervision at $16.78 per hour. Non-clinical duties are paid at $16.78 per hour (ex., notes, new patient consultation calls).

  • Up to 10 Mental Health Days per year (unpaid time off).

  • (6) Paid Sick Days. Paid at the employee’s current rate of pay.

  • (6) Company Holidays Observed (unpaid time off).

  • Discretionary cash bonuses based on performance.
